On July 16-17, 2024, the Second Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan took place at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand.
The forum was dedicated to the theme «Features of the Development of Higher Education and Science in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in Modern Conditions.» The Rector of Adam University, S.R. Sirmbard, participated in the event, not only delivering a speech at one of the key panel sessions but also serving as a moderator.
During the plenary session, participants discussed issues related to education management, new technologies in medical education, as well as digitalization and artificial intelligence in the field of higher education. During the forum, memorandums of understanding were signed between Adam University and the Samarkand State Medical University, Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, Andijan Medical Institute, and Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
