On March 30, 2026, an open practical session titled "State Budget Deficit" was held for first-year students of the E-1-25 group

The session was organized and led by Yulia Vladimirovna Guseva, Ph.D. in Economics and Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Management, and Tourism (EMT).
The session program included:
•    Theoretical Block: Assessing knowledge on the classification of budget deficit types and state methods for its regulation.
•    Practical Work: Students worked in small groups to calculate actual, structural, and cyclical deficits based on provided macroeconomic case studies.
•    Analytical Stage: Presentation of results, where students justified their calculation methods and provided professional interpretations of the obtained indicators.
Conducting the session in this format under expert guidance allowed students not only to reinforce their lecture material but also to develop skills in the collective analysis of real-world economic indicators.
