On May 31, 2024, Adam University staff, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs A. A. Zhamangulov and Head of the Department of Economics, Tourism, Management M. A. Abykeeva, took part in the seminar «Mechanisms of financial autonomy of universities in Kyrgyzstan».
The seminar was held at the Skills Development Center of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after A. Razzakov within the framework of the project «Development of financial Autonomy of Universities in Kyrgyzstan» (DEFA), funded by the Erasmus+ program.
The purpose of the seminar was to discuss the regulatory framework for the financial autonomy of universities. An external expert of the DEFA project, S. Asanov, made a presentation on the topic «Financial autonomy of educational institutions of higher professional education in Kyrgyzstan».
