The administration and faculty of ADAM University held an online meeting with students on January 19. This was reported by the university.
The main topics of the meeting were the form of education in the second academic semester and payment of tuition.
The meeting was opened by the Rector of ADAM University Svetlana Sirmbard. She presented the students with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic № 19/1 of January 13, 2021 "On approval of the educational process organization algorithm in the format of blended learning in the spring semester of 2020-2021 academic year.
During the meeting, the question of reducing the tuition contract was also raised. Svetlana Rustamovna gave an explanation on how the budget is prepared and what the main items of expenditure the university has.
In addition to the faculty salary fund, during the pandemic there was an increase in the cost of logistics, such as cloud storage, licensed software for quality online classes, servers for data processing.
Flexible tuition has been made available for students in financial hardship.
