DEPARTMENT OF MORPHOLOGICAL DISCIPLINES: OPEN SESSION

Lecturer Abbas Khan conducted an open session on the discipline of Normal and Clinical Anatomy on April 3, 2026, at 11:30 AM (Room 403) for Group Gm-4-21(1).

Topic: "Clinical Anatomy Simplified: Hands-on Learning with Mannequin & 3D Table."

Key highlights of the session:

Innovative Teaching Methods: The session utilized modern pedagogical approaches, including brainstorming and the use of neural networks to solve clinically-oriented cases related to the core topic.
Interactive Technology: The "Pirogov Interactive Table" application was used to enhance visualization and precisely identify the localization of various pathological conditions.
Clinical Focus: Special attention was paid to the anatomy of the thorax and the structures of the upper limbs. Pathological conditions such as dislocations, fractures, and their complications were analyzed, with an emphasis on bridging the gap between practical anatomical knowledge and clinical practice.
The session demonstrated the vital link between clinical anatomy and fields such as orthopedics, general surgery, and internal medicine, aiming to build a solid foundational knowledge base for medical students.
