A holiday with tears upon our eyes…
Today Adam University held an event dedicated to the Victory Day with the laying of flowers at the monument to soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War.

The event began with the anthem of the Kyrgyz Republic and a minute of silence for fallen heroes. Flowers to the monuments on the Alley of Heroes of the Second World War were laid by Rector Sirmbard S.R., our guests, students and teachers of the University. Our guests made speeches, and special one was survivor of the Siege of Leningrad Omurbekova Tamara Fedorovna, and the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic chamber choir wrapped this event up by giving everyone an incredible performance.
Separately, the university administration laid flowers at the cemetery in Bishkek.
