Information systems and technologies

The program "Information Systems and Technologies" was established in 2020 on the basis of Adam University. Currently, the head of DMSD is PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Muratalieva V.Zh. The program "Information Systems and Technologies" allows students to get professional training in the field of information technology. Students have practical training in leading IT-companies, such as SE "Infocom", KNOX Krena, "Growave" and others. The University runs academic mobility programs to ensure the quality of higher education in accordance with the world standards, to increase its competitiveness, the best students of the program are sent to study and internship in leading universities of various countries.

The aim of the main educational program of higher professional education in the direction 710200 - Information Systems and Technologies of bachelor's degree is to prepare a professional, practice-oriented, socially-adapted, economically literate specialist, capable of developing software, designing information systems, to collect, process and analyze information, to be able to make decisions, create and manage databases for the successful functioning of the organization, to work successfully in a collective. In the field of education of personality, the aim of the Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and Technologies 710200 is: - ability to self-organization and self-education; - possession of the culture of behavior and thinking; - ability to analyze and perceive information for proper communication with others; - ability to set goals and ways to achieve them; - being ready to fulfill civic duty and display patriotism; readiness for tolerant perception of social, ethnic, confessional and cultural differences.

Internship is an integral part of the basic educational program and an important stage in the training of a bachelor and represents one of the forms of organization of the educational process, consisting in professional and practical training of students in the conditions of production; mastering of advanced methods of technology Internship contributes to the development of independent work of students. In the process of practice students learn to independently select and systematize information within the framework of the tasks set for them, to apply the knowledge gained in practice, to study the technology and equipment used in a particular production, to develop skills to work in a team, to exercise self-control. A student who has graduated from the direction of "Information Systems and Technologies" can work in various environments related to information technology. IT-specialists are required by every bank, every company, every government agency. It is impossible to imagine the work of any enterprise without the use of information technology. Qualified programmers, developers, sysadmins are highly valued on the international labor market. Today the IT industry is one of the most promising and fastest developing in the whole world. Every year opens up new and new horizons for IT specialists. Prospective professions for graduates of the "Information Systems and Technologies" direction: - Software developer: creation, testing and support of software applications; - Data Analyst: collecting, analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data for decision-making; - System Administrator: installing, configuring and maintaining computer network and servers; - Cybersecurity Specialist: responsible for protecting information and data from cyberattacks and other threats; - Software developer: this can be a web developer, mobile developer, database developer or other specialists in this field; A specialist in the field of digital video, computer graphics and animation.
