On June 10, 2026, a working meeting was held at the World Bank office, where the Adam University team presented the progress of the sub-project “Innovative Educational and Research Approaches to the Early Diagnosis and Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases among the Rural Population of the Kyrgyz Republic.” The sub-project is being implemented within the framework of the project of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic “Quality and Innovation in Higher Education,” financed by the World Bank. During the meeting, the team presented the main areas of work, planned activities, and expected results of the sub-project, with particular attention to the development of digital solutions in healthcare, professional capacity building, and expanding opportunities for early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases among rural communities. Special emphasis was also placed on the educational and research components of the initiative, as well as on prospects for further partnership and cross-sectoral cooperation. The meeting became an important platform for discussing practical steps in the implementation of the sub-project and its significance for the development of the healthcare and higher education systems of the Kyrgyz Republic.
